Grammar -The Present Continuous Tense: Questions ➤ Many Answers
Be comes before the subject in questions.
For open questions (questions with many possible answers), we use a question word.
Q. + BE+ SUBJECT + INFINITIVE-ing ... ?
BE → am/are/is
Q. + am+ I + INFINITIVE-ing ... ?
How am I doing now?
You're doing well/great/fine/... .
Q. + are+you/we/they+ INFINITIVE-ing ... ?
Where are they fishing right now?
They're fishing by the river right now.
Q. + is+he/she/it+ INFINITIVE-ing ... ?
What is he reading at the moment?
He's reading a book at the moment.
