We contract am, are and is into 'm, 're and 's.

  • am 'm
  • I +'m + INFINITIVE-ing
  • I'm working now.
  • are 're
  • You/We/They + 're + INFINITIVE-ing
  • They're fishing at the moment.
  • is 's
  • He/She/It + 's + INFINITIVE-ing
  • He's reading right now.
