Gramática - El Pretérito Continuo: Preguntas ➤ Muchas Respuestas

Be viene antes del sujeto en las preguntas.

Para preguntas abiertas (preguntas con muchas respuestas posibles), usamos una palabra interrogativa.

Q. + BE + SUBJ + INF.-ing ... ?
BE → was/were
Q. + was + I/he/she/it + INF.-ing ... ?
What was he doing when she arrived?
He was talking to a friend.
Q. + were + you/we/they + INF.-ing ... ?
What were they talking about?
They were talking about a problem.

What was I doing?	➤	You were sleeping.
Where were you going?	➤	I was going home.
What was he doing?	➤	He was working.
What was she cooking?	➤	... rice.
