Present Perfect: Verbi regolari

Grammatica - Il Present Perfect

Per I, You, We e They, usiamo have e il participio passato (V3).

Per He, She e It, usiamo has e il participio passato (V3).

Per i verbi regolari aggiungiamo solitamente -ed all'infinito per formare il participio passato (V3).

• SUBJECT + HAVE + V3 (PAST PARTICIPLE)
• SOGGETTO + HAVE + PARTICIPIO PASSATO
• Regular Verbs: V3 = INFINITIVE-ed
• VERBI REGOLARI: V3 = INFINITO-ed
• play → played
• HAVE → have/has
• I/You /We/They + have + V3
• I have climbed a mountain before.
• He/She/It + has + V3
• She has played chess before.

Grammatica - Infinitivi che terminano in "-e"

Aggiungiamo -d agli infiniti che terminano con -e.

• INFINITIVE → INFINITIVE-d
• bake → baked
• She has baked a cake before.

Grammatica - Infinitivi che terminano in CONSONANTE-y

Cambiamo -y in -ied per le parole che terminano con consonante-y.

• CONSONANT = b/c/d/f/...
• INFINITIVE → INFINITIVE (- y) + -ied
• study → studied
• They have studied it before.

• VOWEL = a/e/i/o/u
• INFINITIVE → INFINITIVE-ed:
• play → plaied ✘
• play → played ✔
• enjoy → enjoied ✘
• enjoy → enjoyed ✔
