Grammaire - will: Questions fermées ➤ Yes/No

Will se place avant le sujet dans les questions.

Pour les questions fermées (pour les réponses : yes et no), nous utilisons will pour les réponses courtes.

  • Will + SUBJECT + INF. ... ?
  • Yes, + SUBJECT + will
  • Will + SUJET + INFINITIF ... ?
  • Yes, + SUJET + will
  • Will he come tomorrow?
  • Yes, he will.
  • Will + SUBJECT + INF. ... ?
  • No, + SUBJECT + won't
  • Will + SUJET + INFINITIF ... ?
  • No, + SUJET + won't
  • Will they win tomorrow?
  • Yes, they will.

Nous utilisons might lorsque nous ne sommes pas sûrs.

  • We are not sure about the future.
  • PAS CERTAIN

Nous utilisons souvent think au présent simple avec will pour les prédictions.
