ไวยากรณ์ - กริยาปัจจุบันต่อเนื่อง: รูปปฏิเสธ

เราสามารถย่อคำปฏิเสธ are not และ is not เป็น aren't และ isn't ได้บ่อยครั้ง

am not → 'm not
I + 'm not + INFINITIVE-ing
I + 'm not + กริยาช่องที่หนึ่ง-ing
I'm not working now.
are not → aren't/'re not
You/We/They + aren't + INFINITIVE-ing
They aren't fishing at the moment.
is not → isn't/'s not
He/She/It + isn't + INFINITIVE-ing
He isn't reading right now.

We can contract the negatives are not and is not into 're not and 's not.
