Função - Pronomes

Normalmente usamos um pronome sujeito quando já sabemos qual é o sujeito.

Normalmente usamos um pronome objeto quando já sabemos qual é o objeto.

  • SUBJECT = PERSON
  • SUJEITO = PESSOA
  • OBJECT = PERSON
  • OBJETO = PESSOA

Exemplos - SUJEITO + VERBO + OBJETO (SVO)

Muitas vezes seguimos uma ordem de frase sujeito-verbo-objeto (SVO).

Se o objeto for uma pessoa, devemos usar um pronome objeto.

  • SUBJECT + VERB + OBJECT (SVO)
  • SUJEITO + VERBO + OBJETO (SVO)

Função - Adjetivos possessivos

Usamos um adjetivo possessivo com um substantivo para mostrar que uma pessoa possui, tem ou é dono dele.

  • POSS. ADJ. + NOUN = PERSON has NOUN
  • POSS. ADJ. + NOUN = PERSON owns NOUN
  • ADJETIVO POSSESSIVO + SUBSTANTIVO = PESSOA POSSUIR SUBSTANTIVO

  • The POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVE does not affect the VERB FORM.
