機能 - 主語が目的語を指す場合

関係代名詞節 を使用して、目的語 に関するより多くの情報を提供できます。2 番目の文は必要ありません。

英語文法 - 主語が目的語を指す場合

再度言及するときに、目的語 を定義するために、主語代名詞 を使用できます。

同じ文の中で再度言及するときに、主語代名詞 の代わりに 関係代名詞節 を使用できます。

人 の代わりに who または that を使用します。

物 の代わりに which または that を使用します。

  • 2 Sentences → 1 Sentence
  • SUBJECT PRONOUN → RELATIVE PRONOUN
  • PERSON → who/that
  • I saw a doctor. She could help me.
  • I saw a doctor who could help me.
  • THING → which/that
  • I went to a market. It sells antiques.
  • I went to the market which sells antiques.

例 - 主語を含む2つの文

I saw a doctor.He could help me.
I bought the dress.It was in the window.

例 - 主語 → 関係代名詞 (目的語)

I saw a doctor who could help me.
I saw a doctor that could help me.
I bought the dress which was in the window.
I bought the dress that was in the window.
