関係代名詞節を使用して、主語に関するより多くの情報を提供できます。2 番目の文は必要ありません。

英語文法 - 主語が主語を指す場合

再度言及するときに、主語を定義するために、主語代名詞を使用できます。

同じ文の中で再度言及するときに、主語代名詞の代わりに関係代名詞節を使用できます。

人の代わりに who または that を使用します。

物の代わりに which または that を使用します。

SUBJECT PRONOUN → RELATIVE PRONOUN
PERSON → who/that
A man called me. He sells books.
The man who sells books called me.
THING → which/that
A PC has crashed. It is in the corner.
The PC that is in the corner has crashed.

例 - 主語を含む2つの文

A man called me earlier.	He sells books.
The shop has closed.	It sells nice clothes.

例 - 主語 → 関係代名詞 (主語)

A man who sells books called me earlier.

A man that sells books called me earlier.

The shop which sells nice clothes has closed.

The shop that sells nice clothes has closed.
