Present Perfect : Verbes réguliers

Grammaire - Le Present Perfect

Pour I, You, We et They, nous utilisons have et le participe passé (V3).

Pour He, She et It, nous utilisons has et le participe passé (V3).

Pour les verbes réguliers, nous ajoutons généralement -ed à l'infinitif pour former le participe passé (V3).

• SUBJECT + HAVE + V3 (PAST PARTICIPLE)
• SUJET + HAVE + PARTICIPE PASSÉ
• Regular Verbs: V3 = INFINITIVE-ed
• VERBES RÉGULIERS: V3 = INFINITIF-ed
• play → played
• HAVE → have/has
• I/You /We/They + have + V3
• I have climbed a mountain before.
• He/She/It + has + V3
• She has played chess before.

Grammaire - Infinitifs se terminant par "-e"

Nous ajoutons -d aux infinitifs se terminant par -e.

• INFINITIVE → INFINITIVE-d
• bake → baked
• She has baked a cake before.

Grammaire - Infinitifs se terminant par CONSONNE-y

Nous changeons -y en -ied pour les mots se terminant par consonne-y.

• CONSONANT = b/c/d/f/...
• INFINITIVE → INFINITIVE (- y) + -ied
• study → studied
• They have studied it before.

• VOWEL = a/e/i/o/u
• INFINITIVE → INFINITIVE-ed:
• play → plaied ✘
• play → played ✔
• enjoy → enjoied ✘
• enjoy → enjoyed ✔
