Gramática - El presente simple: Preguntas ➤ Muchas Respuestas

Usamos el verbo auxiliar do en las preguntas.

Para he, she y it, usamos does.

Para preguntas abiertas (preguntas con muchas respuestas posibles), usamos una palabra interrogativa.

Q. + DO + SUBJECT + INFINITIVE + ?
PRONOMBRE INTERROGATIVO + DO + SUJETO + INFINITIVO + ?
DO → do/does
Q. + do + I/you/we/they + INFINITIVE + ?
Where do they live?
They live in London/in Tokyo/in Paris/... .
Q. + does + he/she/it + INFINITIVE + ?
What does he play?
He plays the guitar/the violin/the piano/....

Use the INFINITIVE for questions.

Don't use do/does with be.
How does he be? ✘
How is he? ✔
